Maria (Founder, co-owner, and formulator):

As a self-taught pastry baker, a registered chemist/scientist, and an entrepreneur, I love creating new ideas and developing new products that would satisfy the personal care needs of our consumers and contain an “air of authenticity.” I have a degree in Chemistry from the University of San Carlos, Philippines, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. In January of 2022, I started our skincare and personal care products business and I take pride in formulating our new skin, body, and hair care products, as well as wellness products from selective organic, natural, and premium quality ingredients with zero-waste. We started our business by making and selling handcrafted lotion bars and have now expanded to making and selling handcrafted soaps, lip balms, candles, shampoo, and conditioning bars.

Steve (Co-owner, marketing manager):

As an excellent cook, handy guy, and biologist, Steve loves to try out new food recipes and take on new home projects. He loves watching sports, gardening, reading, and spending time with our family. Steve has a degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside and works as a Senior Laboratory Analyst at a pharmaceutical company in suburban Illinois.

Why Skincare and Personal Care products?

I personally love taking care of my skin and hair. Over the years, I developed my own skin care and hair care routine and have been using natural products like coconut oil, cucumber, avocado, cocoa butter, olive oil, etc. for facial, body, and hair care routines. Having used most of these products as the main ingredients for our skincare and personal care products, I am confident that these natural ingredients can do great to your skin and body as they did with mine.

Our Skin Care Philosophy

We formulated our skin care products with the belief that the power of natural, selected organic, premium quality ingredients can make a difference in our skin. Incorporating the 3 components of a good moisturizer e.g., humectants, emollients, and occlusives all in one lotion bar product will not only moisturize our skin but will also help hydrate and nourish it, making it soft, smooth, and refreshing.
