Our Bellevea (bel-vEE uh) artisan soap bars are cold process soaps that contain natural ingredients with olive, coconut, sunflower and sweet almond oils, essential and fragrance oils, shea butter, and oats for creamy, gentle, nourishing, and soothing properties. Soft and gentle cleansers rich in fatty acids (saturated and unsaturated) can help create and support a good, healthy skin barrier to keep skin moisturized and nourished. Our soaps are not your commercially made soaps that are not considered real soaps but are synthetic detergent products.

What are cold process soaps?

Cold process soaps are soaps that are made through the saponification process, a hydration reaction where free hydroxide from sodium hydroxide (lye) breaks the ester bonds of fats or oils to produce glycerol (also known as glycerine) and sodium stearate known as soap.
